Kruger National Park

Towards the end of our stay in South Africa we flew from Cape Town to Kruger Mpumalunga International Airport. From there we drove to Kruger National Park where we stayed for a total of three nights. "Kruger" is about the size of the Netherlands so they say, therefore it would have been impossible to see the whole park in just three days. We did however manage to drive about 300 km around the park & saw loads of wildlife in the meantime.

Our guest house (the Doherty Bryant Boma) was situated in the "Pretoriuskop Camp". I say "guest house" but it was more like a small village. We had four thatched buildings in total, all to ourselves. Three of them were bedrooms with one double bed, one single bed & bathroom, & the fourth building was a kitchen block. There was also a private garden area & three barbecues (or braais as they are called in South Africa). Click here to see photos of our accomodation plus the swimming pool which was also in the Pretoriuskop Camp.
